Even though this Old Crow Medicine Show song came out in 2004, it will always remind me of college. While most of the student body prided itself on NOT being southern, pretty much everybody was able to sing along any time "Wagon Wheel" was played.
Maybe it's that hipsters like to think of themselves as ironically trashy or that the strings and harmonies are exceptional. It's really just a good song.
