Ok, let's be real. Sufjan Stevens can be weird when he wants to. Genius sometimes, but weird. On his latest collaboration with Rosie Thomas, they utilize auto-tune and electronic games to create a magical candy land of a song. Perhaps a bit long (it may have been better to cut out the middle 2 minutes), but I find this song really interesting to listen to. And I love the lyrics: "I'm high as a rooftop now."
I hear "Where Were You" as a less haunting. updated Imogen Heap. This song will be on a record out later this month.
