Today: Something New
My love for Keane has been long standing. There new album, "Strangeland," shows how they have evolved from their earlier projects.
I always love the piano in Keane's song, and the piano in the chorus of "Disconnected" compliments the vocals nice. There are really good harmonies there.

Today: Something Old
This song is a great indie find from about three and a half years ago. They haven't really done much since, but I love this song.
Towards the end of their record, "Broadcast," Meese has a wonderful piano driven ballad with "Movie Screens." The vocals of Patrick Meese are very similar to The Fray or OneRepublic. I dare you to not get the chorus stuck in your head.

Today: Something New
Islands came out with a new record a couple weeks ago and I'm really digging their song, "Hallways." It has an old-school vibe and I really love the piano and the horns at the end of the song. The vocals are good and the song is a great addition to an indie playlist.
Check out the album as a whole, "A Sleep & a Forgetting."
